Direct Action Berlin ruft zu einem Solidaritätsblock mit den palästinensischen Arbeiter_innen unter Besatzung, Apartheid und Unterdrückung auf!
An diesem ersten Mai, dem internationalen Tag der Arbeiter_innen, rufen wir dazu auf, unsere Solidarität mit den Kämpfen der Arbeiter_innen in Palästina zu zeigen. Dieser Aktionstag ist ein Tag des internationalen Kampfs gegen die kapitalistische und imperialistische Unterdrückung. An diesem Tag möchten wir unsere Unterstützung und Solidarität an die Arbeiter_innen in Palästina schicken, die unter einer doppelten Unterdrückung leiden - sowohl unter dem kapitalistischen System, das sie als billige Arbeitskraft ausbeutet, als auch unter dem israelischen Besatzungs- und Apartheidsregime, das sie wegen ihrer Nationalität und ihren Kampfs für Freiheit unterdrückt. Israel hat über Jahre palästinensische Arbeiter_innen als billige und unterprivilegierte Arbeitskraft in ihren Gebieten ausgenutzt. Seit der Errichtung der Apartheidsmauer sind Tausende von Menschen, die davor ihren Lebensunterhalt als rechtlose Arbeiter_innen in der israelischen Wirtschaft verdient haben, davon verhindert, selbst dieses weiter zu tun und bleiben ohne Mittel, für sich und ihre Familien zu sorgen. Die, die immer noch Arbeit haben, sind täglich mit den Hindernissen der Besatzung konfrontiert - Checkpoints, Durchsuchungen, Verhaftungen. Es ist für sie und ihren Kampf, dass wir an diesem ersten Mai auf die Straße gehen.
Die erster Mai Demo in Berlin stellt sich auch gegen die europäische und deutsche Waffenindustrie und ihre Bedienung von imperialistischen und kolonialistischen Interessen in anderen Ländern. Palästinenser_innen werden seit Jahrzehnten als menschliches Versuchslabor der israelischen Waffenindustrie benutzt, die auf Exporte in den Westen basiert ist und sehr stolz darauf ist, "besondere Erfahrung" in die Entwicklung ihrer Produkte mitzubringen. Diese Erfahrung ist das Leben der bombardierten Zivilist_innen in Gaza, die erschossenen unbewaffneten Demonstrant_innen im Westjordanland, und die Arbeiter_innen, deren Zugang zu ihrem Lebensunterhalt durch die komplizierte Kontrollsysteme der israelischen Checkpoints und der Apartheidsmauer verhindert wird. Ein Kampf gegen den Kapitalismus ist ein Kampf gegen kolonialistische Unterdrückung. Solidarität mit den internationalen Kämpfen gegen den Kapitalismus heißt Solidarität mit dem palästinensischen Kampf für Freiheit und Anerkennung.
Wir rufen für einen Solidaritätsblock mit den palästinensischen Arbeiter_innen und ihrem Kampf an diesem ersten Mai auf. Wir treffen uns diesen Mittwoch, 1.5.2013 um 17:45 vor dem Schwimmbad am Spreewaldplatz, und werden uns von da dem Umzug als Block anschließen. Wir freuen uns, Solidaritäts-Banners und palästinensische Fahnen zu sehen, und bitten darum, andere Fahnen oder Partei-Symbole zu vermeiden.

Direct Action Berlin calls for a solidarity block with the palestinian workers under occupation, apartheid and oppression!
On this 1st of Mai, the international worker´s day, we call to show our solidarity with the struggles of the workers in Palestine. This day of action is a day of international struggle against the capitalist and imperialist oppression. on this day we wish to send our support and solidarity to the workers in Palestine suffering from a double oppression - both under the capitalist system exploiting them as a working force and under the israeli occupation and apartheid regime oppressing them for their nationality and their struggle for freedom. For years Israel has used palestinian labor as cheap and deprived working force in its territory. Since the building of the apartheid wall, thousands of workers who were able to earn their living as workers without rights in the israeli economy are prevented from doing even that and are left without means of providing for themselves and their families. Those who are working are faced with the daily obstacles of the occupation - checkpoints, searches, arrests. It is for them and their struggles that we will take to the streets in solidarity on this year´s 1st of May.
The 1st of May demonstration in Berlin also protests against the european and german weapon industry and its serving of imperialist and colonialist interests in other countries. Palestinian people are being used for decades as human experimental lab by the israeli weapon industry, who relies on it´s exports to the west and takes much pride in having "special expertise" in the development of its products. This expertise is the lives of the bombed civilians in Gaza, the unarmed demonstrators being shot dead in the west bank, and the workers being denied passage to their livelihood through the elaborate control systems of the israeli checkpoints and the apartheid wall. A fight against capitalism is a fight against colonialist oppression. Solidarity with the international struggles against the capitalist system is solidarity with the palestinian struggle for freedom and recognition.
We call for a block on this years 1st of May demonstration in solidarity with the palestinian workers and their struggle. We will meet on Wednesday, 1.5.2013, at 17:45 in front of the entrance to the swimming pool on Spreewaldplatz, and from there join the demonstration as a block. Please bring solidarity banners and palestinian flags if you have, we ask kindly to refrain from any other flags or symbols of parties.
