DAGADA dance company is a contemporary dance company based in Freiburg with Karolin Stächele as the artistic director of a constantly changing formation of artists. She is the artistic director and forms the core of a constantly transforming group of freelance artists. he topic of self-positioning within society, she is particularly interested in the interface between shame and beauty. DAGADA has been creating and producing (full-length) dance pieces since 2014 ("loser" 2014, "GRENZLAND" 2015, "radical matter" 2016, "the BLOB" 2017, "Androgynous" 2017, "T." 2018, "MYTH" 2018, „LoveArchive“ 2019), which are mainly created in Freiburg and premiered at the E-Werk Freiburg. Since 2015, Karolin Stächele has regularly received project funding from the municipality and the state. Karolin is actually working on NAKED LOVE – a love circle in dance, an E-Werk production with fundings from TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund in cooperation with tanznetzIfreiburg and Kulturamt Freiburg.
