Die teuren Roaming-Gebühren sind abgeschafft, aber Anrufe ins Ausland können Bürger immer noch viel Geld kosten. Dem will die EU nun ein Ende setzen.

Das ist nach dem "Ja" des EU-Parlaments praktisch entschieden. Sie dürfen maximal noch 19 Cent pro Minute kosten. Zudem sollen im Katastrophenfall Warnungen auf alle Handys gesendet werden.

There are many reasons why we need Europe.

Most recently we have seen the benefits of European cooperation in fighting fires across the EU. The EU's emergency Satellite mapping system
has helped mobilise firefighting planes from Italy 🇮🇹 and France 🇫🇷 via the EU's Civil Protection Mechanism, following a request for assistance from Sweden 🇸🇪 facing devastating forest fires .

This is solidarity in a 🇪🇺 Europe that protects.

LGBT rights in the European Union are protected under the European Union's (EU) treaties and law. Same-sex sexual activity is legal in all EU states and discrimination in employment has been banned since 2000. However EU states have different laws when it comes to any greater protection, same-sex civil union, same-sex marriage and adoption by same-sex couples.

Zunächst wünschen wir euch allen ein frohes neues Jahr! Wir hoffen Ihr könnten schön und sicher rein feiern.

Damit das auch in Zukunft so bleibt, brauchen wir die Europäische Union. In seiner Neujahrs Ansprache appelliert der französische Präsident Macron an alle jungen Europäer sich für ein starkes, gemeinsames Europa einzusetzen.

Gemeinsam können wir unsere europäische Zukunft gestalten! 🎉🇪🇺🎊

Why do we need Europe?

Today Frankfurt is 60,000 people after a British bomb from WW2 was found earlier this week. The 1.8 ton HC-air mine which is an extremely powerful bomb which had the aim to destroy entire parts of the city when it was aimed at the city of Frankfurt a little more than 70 years ago.

While reports say the bomb will not be a danger to the public, the evacuation is none the less the largest of its kind in post-war Germany.

To ensure a continuation of peace throughout Europe, we must stand up for the values it represents!

Building Europe means trying to move forward and create a sustainable concept for the future. It's about understanding that the system isn't perfect but scrapping the entire project is not an option.

What would you want to improve and/or change about the EU as it is today?
