Seventh-grade students at Middle School celebrated Engineers Week on Feb. 23 with a hands-on design challenge that brought real-world engineering concepts into the classroom.

Students in Ms. Donna Walker’s science class welcomed Mr. Edwin Vasquez from the U.S. Army Corps of , Europe District, who helped guide the activity and shared insights about engineering careers. For the day, the classroom transformed into a busy engineering firm as students worked in teams to design and construct LEGO castles under specific constraints.
