NewFuture in Vienna, Austria!

On 26 June 2025, our Austrian partner BEST Institut für berufsbezogene Weiterbildung und Personaltraining GmbH hosted the NewFuture Multiplier Event in Vienna, bringing together trainers, counsellors, and educators who support refugees and migrants across Austria. 🌍

Participants explored the NewFuture project results, including:
📘 the Training Kit for VET Professionals,
🤝 the Guide for Volunteers and Community Leaders, and
🎬 the Animated Educational Videos on Mental Health.

💡 A highlight of the event was the interactive discussion on cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed support, where participants shared practical insights and experiences from their work with migrant communities.

NewFuture in Castelo Branco, Portugal!

On June 9, 2025, our partner Mindshift Talent Advisory hosted the NewFuture Multiplier Event in Castelo Branco, together with CLAIM – Centro Local de Apoio à Integração de Migrantes and GIP – Gabinete de Inserção Profissional de Castelo Branco, at Universidade Sénior Albicastrense (Usalbi). 🌿

The event, titled “Integração, Emprego e Bem-Estar Mental”, brought together migrants from seven countries, educators, and social workers to explore how we can better support mental wellbeing, inclusion, and employment for refugees and migrants. 💛

Participants discovered our key project results —
📘 the Training Kit for VET Professionals
🤝 the Guide for Volunteers and Community Leaders
🎬 and the Animated Educational Videos on Mental Health

It was a day full of meaningful exchange, shared experiences, and inspiring ideas on how empathy-based education and community cooperation can make a real difference. 🌍

NewFuture in Ruse, Bulgaria!

What an inspiring day in Ruse! On June 12, 2025, our amazing partners from RCF – Right to Childhood Foundation hosted the NewFuture Multiplier Event, bringing together educators, psychologists, NGOs, and local stakeholders to talk about mental wellbeing and inclusion for refugees and vulnerable communities. 💛

After months of research, collaboration, and work, we’re excited to present the NewFuture Guide for Volunteers and Community Leaders — a practical tool designed to help communities better support refugees and people with migration backgrounds in their emotional and social wellbeing.

This comprehensive guide includes:
🟢 A Benchmarking and Best Practice Report highlighting successful approaches across Europe
🟢 The Guide itself, offering clear steps, methods, and real-life examples for volunteers and community leaders
🟢 A Podcast, developed to make the Guide’s messages accessible to wider audiences in an engaging way

4th Transnational Partner Meeting

🤝 The final steps — and new beginnings for NewFuture 🌱✨

On 28 May 2025, our partners met in Bochum for the 4th and final Transnational Partner Meeting of the NewFuture project.

Together, we reflected on two years of collaboration, reviewed our project’s achievements, and discussed how to ensure the sustainability and real-life use of all NewFuture results.

A meaningful closing chapter for NewFuture! 🌍💙

On 27 May 2025, we held the Final Conference of the NewFuture project at QUAZ Ruhr, Bochum (Germany) — a day dedicated to mental wellbeing, inclusion, and shared learning.
