Der französische Staat will in Bure (Lothringen) 80.000m³ radioaktive Abfälle in einem unterirdischen Lager verkappen. Dies ist teil des Plans, die gesamte Region zum Zentrum der Atomindustrie auszubauen und in der Folge zu vergiften.
Gegen diese Vorhaben gibt es seit vielen Jahren Widerstand, der sich in den letzten Jahren vervielfacht und auf neue Wege begeben hat. Es gab Demonstrationen, Kletteraktionen, Zusammenstöße mit der Gendarmerie, den Aufbau von Widerstands-Infrastruktur, Sabotage und vieles mehr. Außerdemwar der Wald welcher über dem Baugebiet liegt seit 2016 besetzt, bis die
Militärpolizei ihn im Februar räumte. Bisher gelang es nicht ihn wieder
zu besetzen.
Statt dessen lässt die Repression nicht locker. Es gibt immer mehr Verbote den Bezirk zu betreten, Durchsuchungen, Knast und eine generelle Militarisierung des Gebiets.
The French state wants to dig 80.000m³ of nuclear waste in an underground dump-site in Bure (Lothringen). It is part of the plan to transform the whole region into a center of the nuclear industry and to
intoxicate it by that. For many years there is resistance against this plan. In the last years this resistance is multiplying and taking new directions. There were demonstrations, climbing actions, clashes with the gendarmerie, the building of resistance-infrastructure, sabotage and lots more. Beside that the forest above the construction area was occupied since 2016,
until it was evicted by military police in February. Till now it was possible to reoccupy.
Instead repression doesn’t stop, there are more and more interdictions to enter the district, raids, prison and a general militarization of the territory.
