Strong partnerships start with good conversations. 🤝💬

Yesterday, Ambassador Coombs met with Bundestag member Ellen Demuth, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the CDU's new rapporteur for Oceania.
The discussion highlighted the strength of the New Zealand-Germany relationship, built on trust, shared values, and common interests. Topics ranged from the connections between our own Indo-Pacific region and Europe to the opportunities for deepening the prosperity agenda between our countries.

Ms Demuth visited New Zealand and the Pacific earlier this year as part of Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul's delegation. We value such strong interest in New Zealand and the Pacific in the Bundestag and look forward to furthering these connections! 🌏✨
