The Embassy is just a short walk away from a number of Berlin's iconic landmarks such as the Siegessäule (Victory Column), Tiergarten and Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate). The Embassy complex comprises two wings that are parallel to each other and linked by a glass-covered atrium. The interior design of the building incorporates a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements. For any inquiries you may contact Embassy's general line: +49 (0)30 8857 49 0. On 5 September 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Berlin, in collaboration with the Malaysian-German Students’ Society (MGSS), organised the Merdeka Explorace 2026: Ke Mana Kita? in conjunction with Malaysia’s 69th National Day.

The programme brought together Malaysians from across Germany to celebrate the spirit of Merdeka through teamwork and friendship, with participants completing a series of Explorace challenges across the city of Berlin before gathering at the Embassy for the closing ceremony.

In his remarks, H.E. Mohamad Razdan Jamil, Ambassador of Malaysia to Germany, encouraged all Malaysians, particularly the students to utilize their time in Germany effectively by understanding and emulating the best of German culture through knowledge gathering, creating awareness and gaining valuable experience but at the same time staying connected to and preserving qualities that make us uniquely Malaysians.

On 4 September 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Berlin welcomed a delegation from Europa Netzwerk Norderstedt e.V. where they received a briefing on entitled “ASEAN’s Role in Promoting Regional Peace and Stability“ by the Deputy Chief of Mission which was followed by a question and answer session.

Drawing on the situations in Myanmar and along the Cambodia–Thailand border, the presentation highlighted Malaysia’s experience and contributions as ASEAN Chair in 2025 in addressing regional challenges through dialogue and peaceful engagement.

The programme also saw an engagement with H.E. Mohamad Razdan Jamil, Ambassador of Malaysia to Germany who shares his experience on ASEAN, Malaysia’s foreign policy, Malaysia–Germany relations and EU affairs.

On 14 August 2026, the Berlin ASEAN Committee (BAC) Ambassadors undertook a productive visit to Airbus Hamburg, gaining valuable insights into the company’s global operations and its growing engagement in the ASEAN region. The delegation was welcomed by Ms. Nicole Dreyer‑Langlet, Vice‑President of Digital Workplace and Digital and Member of the Board of Airbus Operations GmbH, together with Ms. Karen Apitzsch, Director of International Government Affairs. They provided a comprehensive briefing on Airbus’ strategic footprint across Southeast Asia, highlighting cooperation with regional partners, technological innovation, and long‑term commitments to aviation development in ASEAN markets.

Following the briefing, the Ambassadors were guided through the Airspace Customer Definition Centre by Ms. Hélène Menweg, Head of Airspace, Customer Definition Centre. The tour showcased Airbus’ approach to cabin design, emphasizing passenger comfort, customization, and the integration of digital tools that allow airlines to tailor cabin concepts to their operational needs.

The visit continued with an impressive tour of the A320 assembly line, offering a close view of Airbus’ advanced manufacturing processes and the precision required in assembling one of the world’s most widely used aircraft families. The delegation observed how efficiency, safety, and sustainability are embedded throughout production.

The programme concluded with a briefing on the Airbus Beluga, the company’s distinctive oversized transport aircraft. The Ambassadors learned about its unique capabilities, including the transport of large aircraft components and its expanding role in supporting diverse logistical missions.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of Airbus’ technological leadership and its strong partnerships within the ASEAN region.
