I believe that representative democratic governance holds incredible value and power. My entire working life I have served people, in one capacity or another. Why am I Green

I’ve been a supporter of the Green movement since I was a teenager, having recognized even then that our future; British Columbia’s, Canada’s and humanity’s, depended on the health and wellbeing of our natural world. I believ

e that the BCGreens’ commitment to serving local constituencies first and party second respects the values and intentions behind the parliamentary system that is the basis of our government structure, and, in so doing, mitigates the threat of dangerous partisan posturing that regularly leads to poor policy and worse outcomes for our citizens. I have watched and commented from the sidelines for a long time and I have concluded that people need an alternative to the status quo; an end to the partisan bickering and the intransigence of the ‘major’ parties who place their own electoral success above the well-being of citizens. I believe the Greens raise the level of discourse, the tone, and underlying ethos in politics. Finally, I joined the Green movement because I felt I needed to add my voice to the growing chorus of everyday folks who regard sustainability as a core personal value, who believe social justice is a right and a responsibility, and who believe that diversity is the mark of a healthy system, be it ecological, economic, social or political. These principles are what inform my collaborative approach to solving the challenges that face us. We must bring as many people with us as we make our cities more sustainable, which means designing cities and towns that people want to live in and can do so happily without too great a personal burden to achieve our collective goals.

It was a beautiful line drive 250' deep right into the center fielder's glove... Despite the 22-21 extra innings loss it was a great day of slow pitch in . Really grateful for this community. 🙌

There's something about biking thru a city that lends itself to a greater appreciation of the places contained within. I've seen this church from the Ringbahn for over 2½ years now & this is the first time I've gotten this close to it. The combination of the geometry & the size of it really resonates with me.
It's a beautiful spot on a slightly too busy road & just a couple hundred meters from a very respectable coffee roaster... Danke für den leckeren Kaffee und den guten Austausch.

Spoiled for choice in this year's EU 🇪🇺 elections. Truly impressive to see so many progressive options. And the 180m walk to the polling place was pretty convenient. Here's to a productive legislative session for all those about to be elected! 🙌🎉
