✨Join us in the united-we-care bloc at the March 8 demonstration.
Unpaid care work is the invisible foundation of our society. Childcare, nursing, housework, and psychosocial support are provided daily by millions – mostly by women* and q***r people – often without pay and without social recognition.
The high approval ratings of the AfD, the normalization of right-wing narratives, and the global rise of authoritarian politics go hand in hand with massive attacks on social infrastructure. At the same time, billions are spent on weapons instead of health care, education, care work, and youth services. We raise a loud, visible, and resistant q***r-feminist voice against this and fight for the expansion – not the dismantling – of social and emancipatory achievements.
We demand a radical rethinking and a change in policy instead of cuts and profit-driven logic that endangers everyone’s health and self-determined lives. The money is out there! By taxing the wealthy and rich, there is no need for cuts in public services.Health care and nursing are not for profit! We need the expansion of needs-based and inclusive social infrastructure and a health care system that centers us and our well-being. We need more and not less time to care!
💫 Together, we take to the streets for a just, q***r-feminist, anti-racist, and solidaristic society – for a world in which care work is organized collectively and according to people’s needs. For a world in which we have the time to care for one another and to shape our future together. ✊✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
