The main goal of the collection is to collect a variety of important and in various aspects intreresting clonal cultures of algae and cyanobacteria. Specialized sub-collections include polar, snow, and thermal springs isolates, sub-collection of terrestial heterocytous cyanobacteria is newly being formed recently. ata Centre for Microorganisms (WDCM). We offer strains, culturing media and other services for reasonable prices. We accept new not genetically modifed (not GMO) unialgal/unicyanobacterial strains and clonal moss cultures without fungal contamination that are of environmental, biochemical, taxonomic, or commercial importance.
