With the festival completely sold out, we can expect a huge number of visitors in the city over the coming days. Please keep in mind that some restaurants, cafés, and other venues may be busier than usual. Seating capacity may be limited, and service times could be longer during peak hours.

🚌 Good news for festivalgoers: A free shuttle bus service is available to the festival airport area, making transportation easier and more convenient.

🎸The festival's biggest headliner is Iron Maiden, performing on Sunday. 🤘

🎶 Open Air Concert Today in Žižkovy Sady! 🎶

Today, music lovers are invited to enjoy a special Open Air Concert in Žižkovy Sady as ZUŠ (Primary Art School) Střezina celebrates its 50th anniversary.

This milestone highlights five decades of artistic education, creativity, and musical talent. Students, teachers, and guests will come together to share the joy of music in a beautiful outdoor setting.

There is a well-known Czech saying: "Co Čech, to muzikant" — literally, "Every Czech is a musician." 🎼🎷The expression reflects the country's long and rich musical tradition, suggesting that music is deeply rooted in Czech culture and that many people have a natural connection to singing, playing instruments, or enjoying music. Today's celebration is a perfect example of this spirit. Let´s meet in Žižkovy Sady and experience the power of music, community, and tradition!

🌙 Night of Churches
Hradec Králové will also take part in the nationwide Night of Churches event. Churches across the city will open to the public in the evening, offering guided tours, concerts, exhibitions, bell tower visits, and a unique nighttime atmosphere. Visitors will have a chance to explore historic sacred spaces that are usually not accessible in this way and enjoy special cultural and spiritual programs throughout the city. Don´t miss it!

✈️ Aviatická Pouť Air Show - The Biggest Highlight of the Weekend
The 34th edition of the Aviatická Pouť air show will take place at the airport in the Park 360 area. Visitors can look forward to historic aircraft, aerobatic performances, Martin Šonka, and a large accompanying program. The busses run for free to the airport.

🚴 European Pedal Car Championship in Hradec Králové, 1:30 - 5:30, Eliščino nábřeží
Once again HK will host the European Pedal Car Championship, a unique and entertaining international event combining sport, creativity, and humor. Teams from the Czech Republic, France, and other European countries race custom-built pedal-powered vehicles through the city streets.

🔥🚨 Important notice for Hradec Králové residents and drivers 🚨🔥

‼️On Tuesday evening (May 26) and during the night, a large number of police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and city police will be operating around Aupark Shopping Center as part of a major Integrated Rescue System (IZS) exercise.

The drill, called “Active Shooter,” is designed to test the preparedness and coordination of emergency services in response to an armed attacker scenario.

Drivers should also expect temporary traffic restrictions near Aupark during the exercise. Please remain calm if you notice increased emergency vehicle activity in the area.
