Jugendwerk der AWO Württemberg is currently looking for one motivated ESC volunteer for a project in Stuttgart, Germany, starting in May 2026.

The volunteer joins our office team and supports intercultural youth projects and our local activities: help with the social media page, supporting the organization of seminars and youth and summer camps, organizing local events with 2 other ESC volunteers and developing their own initiatives.

📅Project dates: 15.05.26 for 9-12 months

Organizace je prý skvělá a moc se mu tam líbí, takže pokud váháte, už neváhejte a zkuste taky někam vyjet!🚄🚢⛱️
Podle aktuálních pravidel můžete jet na několik krátkodobých projektů (do dvou měsíců délky) a jeden dlouhodobý (delší než dva měsíce), dokud nevyčerpáte 12 měsíců celkově. Takže toho můžete vyzkoušet a poznat víc 🙂

On Friday we had the most amazing to opportunity to learn and try so many traditional folk dances - French, Ukrainian, Kurdish and Czech 🤩

Meet Aleyna!

Aleyna je naše kurdská dobrovolnice, kterou můžete potkat přímo na pracovišti Lidická ☺️

“Hello, I’m Aleyna. I’m from Kurdistan. I volunteer at Lidicka. I assist in art, architecture, and ceramics class for different age groups. Before coming here, I graduated from architecture faculty and I am currently developing my artistic perspective. I am learning so much from other volunteers from many parts of the world. Learning about a different culture, language, and geography, and sharing my own culture with others, is wonderful. Strengthening solidarity is also a huge part of this journey.”

Kateryna je naše dobrovolnice z Ukrajiny, kterou můžete potkat na pracovišti Louka ☺️

“Hi everyone, my name is Kateryna.
I think one of my main identities is that of a creator: illustrator first of all, but other than that I enjoy crafting too, different types of fiber arts, creating jewellery dancing and writing sometimes too. That’s what I get to do at my workplace, Louka, too. I’m really happy to have a chance to explore new techniques and develop my skills.
I’m Ukrainian and I love learning more about my culture and history and sharing it with other people!”

V pátek 12.12. 2025 se naše dobrovolnice Clara připojila k akci Živá knihovna v Kroměříži ☺️

Spolu tak s dalšími dobrovolníky měla možnost podívat o vánočních tradici, které patří k francouzským Vánocům 🎄

Our volunteer Clara had the opportunity to join an event hosted by Klubíčko Kroměříž. Together with other volunteers she shared some of the typical French Christmas traditions ☺️

Hledáme jednoho dobrovolníka na krátkodobý projekt leden-březen 2026 ☺️

We are looking for one volunteer for a short term project, from January until March 2026 ☺️

You can apply for three different workplaces - Legato, LUSK and Lyska.

Since it is a short term project we are looking for candidates who don’t need visa and can come to the Czech Republic in a few weeks time.

Meet Hector!

Hector je náš mladý dobrovolník ze Španělska. V rámci projektu dobrovolničí na Lipce, na Rozmarýnku ☺️

“Hello! I’m Hector from Spain, and this year I’m volunteering at Lipka, an environmental education center here in Brno. Before coming here, I had just finished my last year of high school and wanted to do something different and meaningful before taking the next step.

At Lipka, I help prepare workshops, assist teachers during classes, and support outdoor activities. Working here has taught me patience, creativity, and how to explain things more concisely, especially now that my Czech is still developing.

Outside of Lipka, I try to make the most of my time in Brno: learning the language, taking short trips, and discovering new places. I’m also getting back into the gym after a break, which has become one of my favorite parts of the week.

I came here looking for a new experience, and so far it’s exactly that: challenging, exciting, and full of moments I’ll definitely remember.”
