🌍CYS was honoured to attend the reception hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Cyprus, marking the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
During the event, the CYS delegation welcomed H.E. Mr Yang Yundong, the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Cyprus, and extended its warmest wishes for every success in his new role.

🤝CYS looks forward to further strengthening its long-standing cooperation with the Embassy and the Standardization Administration of China (SAC), promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration in the field of standardisation.

🔐 Cyprus at the forefront of Europe’s new cybersecurity requirements
As the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introduces new cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements, European standards will play a key role in helping businesses turn these requirements into practical measures.
On 21 September 2026, CYS, with the support of the Digital Security Authority (DSA), brings European experts and key stakeholders to Nicosia for “Building CRA Compliance through Horizontal Cybersecurity Standards.”
The event will focus on the work of CEN-CLC/JTC 13/WG 9 and the horizontal cybersecurity standards supporting CRA implementation, while providing an opportunity to exchange views and better understand the changes ahead.

🌍 Νέο διεθνές πρότυπο για πιο υγιείς και υποστηρικτικούς χώρους εργασίας
Ο Διεθνής Οργανισμός Τυποποίησης (ISO) δημοσίευσε το ISO 45010, το πρώτο Διεθνές Πρότυπο που παρέχει καθοδήγηση για την εμμηνόρροια και την εμμηνόπαυση στον χώρο εργασίας.
Το πρότυπο βοηθά οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις να αναπτύξουν πιο υποστηρικτικές πολιτικές και πρακτικές, με οδηγίες για την εργασιακή κουλτούρα, την εκπαίδευση των στελεχών, τον σχεδιασμό του χώρου εργασίας και τις κατάλληλες προσαρμογές.
Σύμφωνα με διεθνή έρευνα, το 68% των 6.494 γυναικών από επτά χώρες θεωρεί ότι οι εργοδότες έχουν ρόλο στην υποστήριξη εργαζομένων σε θέματα που σχετίζονται με την εμμηνόρροια και την εμμηνόπαυση.
