Dear Sir/Madam,
On this day, July 7th 2020, the President of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Serbia have adopted new and stricter measures in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
One of those measures is to ban the gathering of more than five people indoors. Because of this, we are denied the opportunity to organize the tournament.
The Sahovska Akademija Sampiona had a great desire, and invested great energy to hold a chess festival in Belgrade for the third time, and for the chess players to return to chess boards. Unfortunately, this time we failed...
All the participants of the festival who have paid a certain amount of registration fee will receive a refund.
We are sincerely sorry for the situation. We hope for better times, and that we will see each other again in Belgrade.
