American Corner Belgrade was founded on May 16th, 2003 in cooperation with the Belgrade City Library and U.S. On October 17, 2006 the American Corner was reopened in its current location in the Cultural Center Dom omladine. The Corner provides access to current and reliable information about the U.S. via book collections, the Internet, and through local programming for the general public. Embassy
in Belgrade, Belgrade City Library and Youth Cultural Center, the American Corner serves as an information outpost similar to a public library. The multi-media, book and periodical collections are open and accessible to all interested citizens. Associated reading, meeting and programming rooms are made available to host program events and activities (i.e. workshops, speaker programs, film screenings, meetings and exhibits). About AC

American Corner also provides access to U.S. information through Internet access, audio and video materials, and CD-ROMs. Access to American Corner collections is free and open to all interested citizens.
