🔵As part of the “Days of Tunisia in Serbia” event, held from 14 to 16 May 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia organized two guided tours of the photography exhibition dedicated to the island of Djerba. The first tour was organized for students from the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Geography, while the second was held for students from the Hospitality and Tourism School of Vrnjačka Banja.
➡️The tour was led by tourism expert Farhat Bentanfous, founder of DMO Djerba, the organization responsible for the management and promotion of the Djerba destination.
Consisting of 41 photographs, the exhibition highlighted Djerba’s iconic monuments, mosques, and unique landscapes.
✅The guided tour was followed by the screening of a documentary film about Djerba, offering students an enriching immersion into the cultural, historical, and tourism wealth of this emblematic Tunisian destination, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023 under the title “Djerba: Testimony to a Settlement Pattern in an Island Territory”, in recognition of its outstanding cultural and historical heritage.
✅The Embassy welcomes the strong interest shown by the students and reaffirms its commitment to promoting Tunisia as a leading cultural and tourism destination among the youth in Serbia.
