🔵As part of the “Days of Tunisia in Serbia” event, held from 14 to 16 May 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia organized two guided tours of the photography exhibition dedicated to the island of Djerba. The first tour was organized for students from the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Geography, while the second was held for students from the Hospitality and Tourism School of Vrnjačka Banja.

➡️The tour was led by tourism expert Farhat Bentanfous, founder of DMO Djerba, the organization responsible for the management and promotion of the Djerba destination.
Consisting of 41 photographs, the exhibition highlighted Djerba’s iconic monuments, mosques, and unique landscapes.

✅The guided tour was followed by the screening of a documentary film about Djerba, offering students an enriching immersion into the cultural, historical, and tourism wealth of this emblematic Tunisian destination, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023 under the title “Djerba: Testimony to a Settlement Pattern in an Island Territory”, in recognition of its outstanding cultural and historical heritage.

✅The Embassy welcomes the strong interest shown by the students and reaffirms its commitment to promoting Tunisia as a leading cultural and tourism destination among the youth in Serbia.

🔵As part of strengthening cultural and artistic exchanges between Tunisia and Serbia, and promoting the richness of Tunisian musical and dance heritage among Serbian students and academic institutions, the Embassy of Tunisia in Belgrade organized a music masterclass and a dance workshop, in collaboration with the Faculty of Music in Belgrade Fakultet Muzicke Umetnosti Beograd and the Institute of Artistic Dance Institut za umetničku igru, within the framework of the Days of Tunisia in Serbia held from 13 to 16 May 2026.

🎶The music masterclass was led by the musicologists Zouhaier Gouja and Ikbal Hamzaoui, the percussionist Abdelkader Ben Haj Kacem, with the participation of Wisal Nasser, violinist and singer.

✨The dance workshop was conducted by professional dancers Chaima Aouni and Haythem Boughalmi, accompanied by percussionist Abdelkader Ben Haj Kacem.

✅These interactive sessions offered Serbian students and professors an opportunity to discover Tunisian musical rhythms and traditional dance expressions, while fostering artistic dialogue and cultural exchange between the two countries. The initiative was met with great enthusiasm and appreciation from participants.

✅ In the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. Đuro Macut, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, and inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Marko Đurić, Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with H.E. Mr. Fatah Mahraz, Ambassador of Algeria and Dean of the Group of African Ambassadors, H.E. Mrs. Imen Laajili Ammari, Ambassador of Tunisia in Belgrade, participated on 22 May 2026 at the Palace of Serbia in the celebration marking the International “Africa Day.”

✨The Embassy of Tunisia took part in this event with a dedicated booth showcasing Tunisian olive oil, as well as Tunisian gastronomy, reflecting the richness, authenticity and diversity of Tunisia’s cultural and culinary heritage and national identity.

➡️ The Tunisian stand was honored by the visit of H.E. Prof. Dr. Đuro Macut, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, as well as several ambassadors accredited to Serbia, diplomats, officials, and guests attending the event.

✔️On the final day of the event “Days of Tunisia in Serbia”, organized on the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Serbia, a musical and dance performance was held at Madlena Art Palace.

✨The show was not only a celebration of music and dance, but also a vibrant reflection of the richness and diversity of Tunisian culture, showcased through its melodies, choreographies, rhythms, and traditional costumes.

✅ The performance was composed of several segments representing the different facets of Tunisian musical and artistic heritage, ranging from the traditional Malouf and Tunisian folkloric music to contemporary music and modern dance performances.
Through this artistic journey, the audience discovered the cultural depth and diversity that characterize Tunisia’s identity and artistic expression.

🎶The musical performance featured five artists: Zouheir Gouja on the accordion, Ikbal Hamzaoui and Nidhal Trabelsi on the piano, Mohamed Abdelkader Haj Kacem on percussion, and the singer Wissal Naceur.🎤

✔️As part of the event “Days of Tunisia in Serbia”, organized on the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Serbia, the 15th of May 2026, was dedicated to the promotion of Tunisia’s olive oil.

✨ Today, Tunisia ranks first worldwide in the export of organic olive oil, reflecting the quality, authenticity, and international recognition of this sector. This olive oil-focused day highlighted the unique characteristics, richness, and health benefits of this flagship Tunisian product, while also showcasing the diversity of the country’s olive oil heritage.

✅On this occasion, a professional olive oil tasting session was led by Dr. Kaouther Ben Hassine, according to international tasting standards, with the main objective of teaching the audience how to identify high-quality olive oil while highlighting the excellence and distinctive qualities of Tunisia’s production.

➡️This session gave the public the opportunity to discover the sensory characteristics, authenticity, and outstanding quality of Tunisian olive oil.

✅The session was honored by the presence of Mrs. Majida Lubura Ćosić, Deputy Chief of Cabinet, who attended on behalf of the Minister without Portfolio in charge of Reconciliation, Regional Cooperation and Social Stability, H.E. Mr. Usame Zukorlić.

🎥The audience also attended the screening of a documentary film about Tunisian olive oil, emphasizing the importance of scientific expertise and research in the development, as well as the deep cultural and historical roots of olive cultivation in Tunisia.

🎶The screening was followed by an artistic performance featuring “Malûf” music and traditional and modern Tunisian dances. Tunisian Malouf is a traditional Tunisian musical genre originating from the Arab-Andalusian musical heritage.

The musical performance featured five musicians: Zouheir Gouja on the accordion, Ikbal Hamzaoui and Nidhal Trabelsi on the piano, Mohamed Abdelkader Haj Kacem on percussion, and the singer Wissal Naceur.

✔️ As part of the event “Days of Tunisia in Serbia”, organized on the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Serbia, the 14th of May 2026, was dedicated to the promotion of Tunisia’s rich tourism heritage.

⭕Under the auspices of the Embassy of Tunisia to Serbia, the Representation of the Tunisian National Tourism Office in Frankfurt, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Haloui, Director General of Office National du Tourisme Tunisien الديوان الوطني التونسي للسياحة organized an award ceremony to honor its tourism partners in recognition of the excellent results achieved during 2025 and to encourage continued cooperation for the upcoming tourist seasons.

✨The ceremony was marked by the presence of H.E. Mr. Husein Memić, Minister of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia, who subsequently inaugurated, alongside the Ambassador of Tunisia and the Director General of the Tourism Office, a photography exhibition dedicated to the island of Djerba.

🟢In the presence of Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Haloui, Director General of the Tunisian National Tourism Office National du Tourisme Tunisien الديوان الوطني التونسي للسياحة Mrs. Imen Laajili Ammari, Ambassador of Tunisia to Belgrade, hosted on May 13, 2026, the official opening ceremony of the event "Days of Tunisia in Serbia” to be organized from May 13 to May 16 at Madlena Art Palace.

This event is held in partnership with the Tunisian National Tourism Office within the framework of a series of celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Serbia.

➡️The opening ceremony was attended by high-level Serbian officials, namely H.E. Mr. Miloš Jončić, Acting Assistant Minister for Security Policy and personal representative of H.E. Mr. Marko Đurić, Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Jovan Janjić, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and President of the Serbian-Tunisian Parliamentary Friendship Group and H.E. Mr. Vladimir Arsenović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia. Their presence underscored the strength of Tunisian–Serbian relations, the shared commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation across various fields, and the importance of such celebration.

➡️The ceremony was also attended by several ambassadors and members of the diplomatic community accredited to Serbia.
