Baby and mother Howler monkey are residents at the Monteverde Waterfall.

Three minutes at the Monteverde Waterfall.
This morning I went to the Monteverde Waterfall. On the driveway, I found a female Howler Monkey sleeping. I did not see any other monkeys, but I heard them far away. I wondered why she was alone.
A troop of White-throated Capuchin Monkeys came and chased the poor Howler monkey away. Technically, they can eat a howler if they want.
Tonight, I watched the videos on my computer screen. The female howler had a baby. That explains why she was sleepy and why she looked so afraid. She had to protect her baby.

Friendly visitors came to the waterfall today. They do not pay, but they always come to the reception.

White-throated Capuchin Monkeys and many other creatures came to the waterfall this morning.
One of our Wildlife Experts was there to enjoy the moment and share it.

We have White-throated Capuchin Monkeys, Toucanets, and Howler Monkeys. So far, those guys are around and having fun.

On Wednesday, January 11th, we had a visitor.
Nanjia Ka visited the waterfall and photographed the elusive Sunbittern.
This is one of the fantastic moments.
