✨ A Night of Diplomacy and Leadership!

To mark the height of our Commonwealth Week celebrations, a joint reception was hosted in honour of High Commissioners for a Day. We were privileged to welcome, the Ministry of External Relations especialy the Commonwealth Department.

The evening featured a powerful vision for the future, with Lord JP Marland, Chairman of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), addressing the audience to present the Commonwealth Investment Network. 🌍📈

A truly proud moment came as the Board Chair of Access Bank Cameroon joined us to offer gifts to our High Commissioners for a Day.
📜 Having spent the day seeing firsthand how we "unlock opportunities together," Njei Perry’s leadership reminds us why youth voices are the heartbeat of a prosperous Commonwealth. 🌟

"A seat at the table! 🏛️ Our , Njei Perry, joined the British and Canadian High Commissioners FOR A DAY for an inspiring audience with Prime Minister Dion Ngute. This visit is a powerful testament to our joint mission: unlocking opportunities for young Cameroonians to step into the world of diplomacy and shape the future of our Commonwealth family.

Also Minister Delegate Felix Mbayou reminded the vital importance of "strengthening partnerships and solidarity for shared prosperity." 🤝

The British High Commission, High Commission of Canada, and South African High Commission were proud to work alongside the Commonwealth Department to bring this vision to life through a week of action, leadership, and inclusion.

Leaving No One Behind through Sport!

Inclusion was the name of the game today! As part of our joint Commonwealth Week activities, we had an inclusive fitness walk.

It was an honor to walk alongside athletes from the disabled community. This event, supported by the Commonwealth Department, reminds us that the Commonwealth’s strength lies in its diversity and the removal of barriers for all citizens. 🏅🤝

The “High Commissioner for a Day (HC4aDay)” 2026 Programme is a unique learning and development experience designed for smart, eloquent, talented, and engaging young people who are passionate about current affairs, as well as economic issues, and who have innovative ideas that can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
