At 42nd Anniversary:
CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section Stage Mega thank you Rally for the Construction of Bangem-Nguti Road.

Militants of the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Bangem have staged a Mega thank you Rally for a Fulfilled promise by H.E Paul Biya for the Construction of the Bangem-Nguti Road.
The ceremony took place on November 6, 2024 in Bangem on the occasion of the celebration of the 42nd anniversary of H.E Paul Biya’s accession to the Supreme Magistracy of Cameroon by CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Bangem, under the theme, “Let us all Mobilize as one behind President Paul Biya to ensure Stability and Progress of Cameroon around the Ideals of Peace and National Unity”.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Charge the Mission and Head of CPDM Central Committee Permanent Delegation to Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Bangem, Mbong Michael Mbine disclosed that President Paul Biya has distinguished Kupe Muanenguba Division since its creation in 1993.
He said the Head of State has always appointed a son from Kupe Muanenguba each time a government is formed.
Mbong who is also Deputy General Manager of Maetur said the construction of the Bangem-Nguti road will pave the way for major development of the division.
“We have to continuously support President Biya for the consolidation of national unity. He is our natural candidate for the forthcoming Presidential Elections”. He announced.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Mayor of Bangem Council, Ekungwe Kang Christopher, congratulated President Biya for the socio-economic development of Kupe Muanenguba.
Business and Touristic Potentials
Mayor Ekungwe was excited that the Bangem-Nguti road will open up the cocoa rich area of Bangem Sub Division, easy access to timber, sand, quarries and non-timber forest resources.
He said farmers and businessmen shall have easy access to the markets of Kumba, Mamfe and even Nigeria.
The Mayor further revealed that upon completion, the road shall give exposure to the overwhelming touristic potential of Bangem municipality like Lake Bermin, the underground caves at Ekona Bajoh, the United falls at Ebang with over five rivers merging at the same place and the river Nloh with wonderful species of fishes.
Reflecting on the theme of the celebration, the Section President of CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Mesumbe Mbukelome Ambrose said the division is blessed and have every reason to mobilize strongly behind President Paul Biya.
He described the Bangem-Nguti road as an economic road that will open the bread basket for Cameroon, Africa and the world at large.
Mesumbe reminded the militants of the political slogan, “you scratch my back, I scratch yours”.
Motion of Support
In a motion of support to the Head of State read by the YCPDM Section President Kupe Muanenguba I, Nkwelle Peter Atabe, he said noting with appreciation the construction of the Bangem-Nguti road, they pledge their unflinching support to President Biya in all his endeavors in the furtherance of development, peace and living together.

The event also witnessed paper presentations by Ewane Cliford Ngabe, Sub Section President of CPDM Nhia III Sub Section, Ekambeng on “Political Education and Political Participation”.
Enongenepie Manga talked on “Community Participation in Nation Building, Hygiene and Sanitation and Civil Status Documents”.
While the Youth Council President for Kupe Muanenguba I, Ngide Lord Brown presented on the achievements of the New Deal Regime under the stewardship of H.E Paul Biya as Head of State from 1982 to 2024.
Also present was the Senior Divisional Officer of Kupe Muanenguba Division, Mungambo Ekema William, the Divisional Officer of Bangem Sub Division, Dairou Saly, amongst others
