GETEC 2026: SONARA soutient l'innovation de la jeunesse estudiantine
La place de l'indépendance de Yaoundé a accueilli du 10 au 14 août 2026, la 8ième édition du Salon du Génie et Talent de l'Etudiant Camerounais.
L'événement qui se tenait sous le thème : « L'Université entrepreneuriale au cœur de la SND30 : propulser le génie des étudiantes et des étudiants vers la normalisation industrielle et l'émergence de champions nationaux », promouvait l'entrepreneuriat étudiant et la transition vers l'université- entreprise.
Cette cérémonie était présidée par Monsieur le Ministre d'État, Ministre de l'Enseignement Supérieur, Grand Chancelier des Ordres Académiques, S E. Professeur Jacques FAME NDONGO, accompagné pour la circonstance par ses homologues, S.E.M.IBRAHIM TALBA MALLA, Ministre des Marchés Publics, S.E.M. BASSILIKING III Achille, Ministre des Petites et des Moyennes Entreprises, de l’Économie Sociale et de l’Artisanat, des Directeurs de l'Administration Centrale, des Recteurs des Universités, des Personnalités,et des Partenaires à l'organisation tels que la SONARA.
Les objectifs principaux déclinés dans le cadre de la 8ième édition portaient sur :
- la valorisation : Mettre en avant la créativité et les innovations technologiques ou économiques des étudiants;
- l'accompagnement : Exposer les projets de jeunes entrepreneurs et faciliter les financements ou partenariats avec le monde professionnel;
- L'Immersion: Réunir une vingtaine d'établissements supérieurs publics et privés pour exposer les travaux de leurs laboratoires.
La SONARA, l'un des Sponsors du GETEC 2026, s'est bien illustrée aux côtés des jeunes star ups en associant son image de marque d'entreprise citoyenne qui s'intéresse aux choses de la cité , et qui, à travers le soutient à l'éducation et l'innovation estudiantine, développe l'un des axes majeurs de sa responsabilité sociale porté sur le volet du soutien à éducation.
En répondant à toutes les questions et préoccupations des jeunes, la SONARA donnait là une belle occasion d’échanger directement avec ses professionnels, de mieux comprendre ses missions et d'informer sur les enjeux liés à la réhabilitation et la modernisation du fleuron de l'économie nationale.

GETEC 2026: SONARA supports the innovation of the youth
The Independence Square of Yaoundé hosted from August 10 to 14, 2026, the 8th edition of the Cameroonian Student Genius and Talent Show.
The event, which took place under the theme: “The Entrepreneurial University, at the heart of the SND30: propelling the genius of students, towards industrial standardization and the emergence of national champions”, promoted student entrepreneurship and the transition to university-business.
The opening ceremony which took place on 11 August, 2026, was chaired by the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Grand Chancellor of Academic Orders, H E. Professor Jacques FAME NDONGO, accompanied by his counterparts from the Ministry of Public Contracts, IBRAHIM TALBA MALLA, from the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, from the Social Economy and Crafts, Achille bassiliking III, Directors of the Central Administration, Rectors of Universities, Personalities, and Partners in the organization.
The main objectives set out as part of the 8th edition focused on:
- valorization: Highlight the creativity and technological or economic innovations of students.
- support: Expose the projects of young entrepreneurs and facilitate financing or partnerships with the professional world. Immersion:
- Bring together around twenty public and private higher establishments to exhibit the work of their laboratories. If you
SONARA, one of the Sponsors of GETEC 2026, stood out alongside young start ups by associating its brand image as a corporate citizen, through support for education and student innovation, develops one of the major axes of its corporate social responsibility, focused on the aspect of support for education.
By responding to all the questions and concerns of young people, SONARA provided an opportunity for the students to interact directly with its professionals, in order to better understand its missions and provide information on issues linked to the rehabilitation and modernization of the flagship of the national economy.
