*10th anniversary of the Republic of Toubak*
Ten years ago our Republic was born. Ten years of commitment, resilience and audacity. Ten years during which our nation has been able to maintain itself, strengthen itself and above all reinvent itself.
I pay tribute to my predecessors, from Aboubacar Touré to Aboubacar Sylla, as well as to all former elected officials and members of successive governments. All have contributed, through their work, their debates and sometimes their fruitful disagreements, to structuring our institutional life and to consolidating the State. Their dedication allowed Toubak to take every step of his development with responsibility and ambition.
I also salute those who, today, climb the ranks of the State and embody renewal. The new Chancellor Roxanne Dedomon, the Minister of Economy and Finance Yao Christ Lemarshall - recently became a citizen of our Republic - and Mr. Souleymane Ouattara, represent this generation determined to write a new page in our history.
The Republic of Toubak is a living example of meritocracy. I am the witness to it myself: I had the honor of serving every strata of the State, from simple citizen to President of the Republic. This journey would not have been possible without the opportunities given by the Republic or the support of men such as the Keeper of the Seals, Mr. Abu Ahmad, or Mr. Ahmed Ouattara, whose constant commitment to me has contributed to strengthening our institutions.
Our Republic is young, but it is solid. It is based on elevation through merit, loyalty to our symbols and the conviction that every citizen can serve greater than himself.
At the dawn of this new decade, I say it with confidence: my successor may be reading these lines. Because in Toubak, the future belongs to those who work, learn and serve. This is why the ENA was created and will soon open its doors.
Long live the Republic.
