Cleantech Switzerland was developed as part of the economic stabilization measures adopted by the Swiss government in 2009 and is constituted as an Association under Swiss law since 2010. Cleantech Switzerland has access to the network of official Swiss representations abroad which represents a worldwide network to promote Swiss Cleantech products and services. Cleantech Switzerland is a powerful interface between Swiss companies and foreign project and busi-ness partners. Cleantech Switzerland’s work is supported by a central database (Cleantech Cube) containing detailed profiles of nearly 400 Swiss companies, a key resource in ensuring easy access to Swiss technologies. Cleantech Switzerland offers different services, e.g. information about projects, tenders and events; marketing support and market development and consulting services in cooperation with selected service partners. Additionally, Cleantech Switzerland utilizes its network of 16 sector associations as well as the official Swiss network abroad, comprising around 100 Embassies, 50 General Consulates and 18 Swiss Business Hubs.
