Diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Switzerland began as early as the time of the first Ukrainian independence in 1917. Since 1991, the countries gradually opened up to each other and their economic connections grew. The Ukrainian-Swiss Business Association (USBA) was founded in January 2020 with the support of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Swiss Confederation in order to protect, support and
promote the interests of Swiss industrial, trade and service companies in Ukraine and Ukrainian companies in Switzerland. Our mission: to improve the investment climate in Ukraine for the benefit of the industry, society and economy of both countries, attracting the best Swiss experience in business, management and cooperation. For this aim, the USBA:
- brings issues of concern to members to the attention of the relevant authorities and helps in structuring solutions acceptable to all participants
- provides consultations on legal aspects and regulatory acts
- helps in the development of tax decisions and the financial base for investment projects
- contributes to the registration of enterprises
- informs about mechanisms for non-residents and visa requirements
- supports real estate security, banking operations organization and asset management operations
- provides export consultations
- guarantees constant comprehensive support of the most qualified specialists
