We’re working to make the United Nations Human Rights Council accessible to participants from all United Nations Member States — including Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries, supported by the LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund.

On 3-5 June 2026 in Bridgetown, Barbados, participants from across the Caribbean are coming together for a LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund Regional Workshop. These workshops help strengthen understanding of the Council’s work, build capacity for engagement, and support fuller participation.

The LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund, established by the Human Rights Council and operational since 2014, supports delegates through training, fellowships, inductions and regional workshops so they can engage more effectively in international human rights processes.
