ICN President José Luis Cobos Serrano and CEO Howard Catton met today on the sidelines of the Congress with representatives of the emerging International Alliance of Indigenous Nurses, including Dr Ali Drummond, Indigenous nurse and CEO of the Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives (CATSINaM), and Kerri Nuku, Kaiwhakahaere of the New Zealand Nurses Organisation - NZNO.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen the voice, influence, and expertise of Indigenous nurses across health systems and the nursing profession.

🌏ICN CEO Howard Catton joined the Chinese Nursing Association, along with more than 2,000 nurse leaders committed to advancing the profession, to speak on the importance of nursing leadership in addressing current global health priorities, as well as the important work at ICN.
