At the AI for Good Summit’s Girls in ICT Day event, UK Economic Ambassador Rebecca Fisher Lamb reflected on the importance of ensuring that girls and young women have the confidence, opportunities and skills to engage with AI and digital technologies.

As technology continues to shape our future, diverse perspectives are essential. Empowering more girls and young women to participate in these conversations is critical to building a digital future that is innovative, inclusive and fair for all.

We joined the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva to see up close how can be a powerful force for good, whether that’s across science, public services or development 🤖

Unlocking the potential of AI needs global cooperation which is why events such as this are so important. It brought together partners from across industry, the UN system and governments, including the UK’s Minister for the Indo-Pacific and Equalities,

The Summit - along with the very first Global Dialogue on AI, also in Geneva this week - created a space to build trust and discuss how the benefits of AI are shared widely and responsibly 🌎

The UK continues to champion an AI future that drives growth, improves lives at home and overseas, and advances sustainable development 🦾
