✨ Dear Friends, Christ the Lord is risen! Alleluia! ✨

This is the joyful truth at the heart of our faith — the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and love over sin.

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:5–6)

The Resurrection reminds us that darkness never has the final word. Even in a world marked by suffering and uncertainty, Easter proclaims that peace is possible, reconciliation is possible, and new life is possible.

“Peace be with you” (John 20:19) — these words of the Risen Christ are not only a greeting, but a mission. We are called to bring this peace into our families, our communities, and our world 🤍

May the Risen Lord fill your hearts with hope, strengthen your faith, and bless your loved ones.

🌿 Wishing you a blessed, joyful, and peaceful Easter!

Alleluia! He is truly risen! ✨

✝️ Good Friday ✝️

On this solemn day, we stand in silence at the foot of the Cross.
We contemplate the mystery of Christ’s Passion — an act of boundless love for all humanity.

“Having loved His own… He loved them to the end” (John 13:1)

On the Cross, this love is revealed in its fullness.
Christ takes upon Himself the suffering and sin of the world so that we might receive life.

“He was pierced for our transgressions… and by His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5)

Today, let us bring before the Lord all who suffer — those affected by war, injustice, illness, and loneliness.
“Father, forgive them…” (Luke 23:34) — a call to forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace.

The Cross, once a sign of shame, has become the tree of life.
It is not the end, but the path to glory.

Let us remain with Christ in silence and hope.

🌌 On the occasion of the launch of NASA’s Artemis II mission on April 1, 2026, the Caritas in Veritate Foundation has released a documentary featuring reflections and perspectives on space exploration and the principles that should govern humanity’s relationship with it.

At a time when outer space is increasingly shaped by questions of security, governance, and the common good, this important initiative invites us to reflect on the ethical responsibility that must accompany scientific and technological progress. The Foundation’s broader work on this theme is presented in its publication, Outer Space and Humanity at a Crossroads: A New Frontier of the Common Good, which examines the legal, ethical, and spiritual dimensions of humanity’s expanding presence in space.

As Archbishop Ettore Balestrero reminds us, space must remain a common good, guided by clear legal norms and a profound sense of responsibility toward all humanity and future generations.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Joseph — a righteous man, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and protector of the Holy Family.

“The Gospel tells us: ‘Joseph did as the angel of the Lord commanded him’ (Matthew 1:24).
His greatness lies in silent fidelity and unwavering faith.

Let us pause today and turn to Saint Joseph — a model of humility, obedience, and trust in God — and pray:

Father, you entrusted our Savior to the care of Saint Joseph.
By the help of his prayers may your Church continue to serve its Lord,
Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Saint Joseph, guardian of the Redeemer, pray for us.

Today at the General Audience, Pope Leo XIV continued the catechesis on the documents of the Second Vatican Council, reflecting on the Dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium and the theme: “The Church, a Visible and Spiritual Reality.”

The Holy Father reminded us that the Church is a “complex reality”: both human and divine. It is a visible community of believers living in history, but also the Mystical Body of Christ, through which God continues to act in the world.

The holiness of the Church does not come from human perfection, but from the fact that Christ lives and works within her, even through the fragility of her members.

As the Pope emphasized, we build the Church not only through structures, but above all through communion, charity, and love for one another.

This week in Geneva, the Holy See participated in the High-Level Segments of the 61st Session of the Human Rights Council and the 2026 Session of the Conference on Disarmament. 🇻🇦 🇺🇳

Representing the Section for Relations with States and International Organizations, Rev. Msgr. Daniel Pacho emphasized that the protection of human rights and the pursuit of disarmament are moral imperatives rooted in the inherent dignity of every human person. ⚖️

Key highlights from the interventions included:

Human Rights: A call to restore the credibility of the multilateral system by returning to foundational principles. This includes defending the right to life from conception to natural death, supporting the family as the fundamental building block of society, and protecting freedom of religion.  🌱

Disarmament: An appeal to move beyond the “logic of fear” and deterrence. The Holy See urged for concrete progress in nuclear non-proliferation, the preservation of outer space for peaceful purposes, and the establishment of a moratorium on lethal autonomous weapons systems to ensure human oversight in the use of force.  🕊️

In a global climate often dominated by force, we remain committed to a diplomacy of dialogue and the promotion of the common good. 🤝

Today, February 22, the Church celebrates the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter ✨ — a sign of the unity and continuity of the Church founded by Jesus Christ.
In the Gospel, Jesus says to Peter:
“You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). 📖
The Church is not founded on human strength, but on faith in Christ. Peter was chosen not because he was perfect, but because he trusted in the Lord.
From around AD 30–33, the ministry entrusted to Peter has continued unbroken for nearly 2,000 years ⛪. Today, that mission is carried forward by the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, the 267th successor of Saint Peter, whose motto reminds us: “In the One, we are one.”
One of the Pope’s ancient titles is “Servant of the Servants of God” — a shepherd called to guide God’s people with humility and love 🕊️.
On this feast, let us pray for the Holy Father 🙏 — that he may be strengthened in wisdom, courage, and faith.
May Christ, who guides His Church, bless and protect its shepherds, and keep us united in faith, hope, and love.

Today, on Ash Wednesday, we enter the holy season of Lent — a time of humility, reflection, and hope ✝️
“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19). These words remind us not of our weakness, but of our dependence on God, the source of all life.
Lent is a time of grace and conversion. The prophet Joel calls us: “Return to me with all your heart… for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love” (Joel 2:12–13).
This year, Pope Leo XIV invites us to embrace a powerful and often overlooked form of fasting: fasting from words that wound. Let us disarm our language. Let us refrain from judgment, harshness, and speaking ill of others. Instead, may our words reflect kindness, patience, and love — in our families, workplaces, communities, and online.
May this Lenten season draw us closer to God through prayer, fasting, and charity. May our hearts be open to His voice and transformed by His grace.
Lord, guide us on this path of conversion. Amen.

Today during the General Audience this morning, Pope Leo XIV spoke about Sacred Scripture as the Word of God in human words.

Meeting pilgrims and faithful from around the world, the Holy Father continued the catechetical cycle on the Documents of Vatican Council II, focusing on Dei Verbum and the mystery of Scripture as both divine and deeply human.

📖 God does not speak in a distant or “heavenly” language.

He chooses human words — real, historical, embodied — as an act of love and closeness.

🔥 Inspired by the Holy Spirit, human authors are true authors, not passive instruments.

Pope Leo XIV reminded us that to read Scripture faithfully, we must hold together both dimensions:

➡️ its divine origin
➡️ and its human language, history, and context

Ignoring either leads to distortions — whether rigid fundamentalism or reducing the Bible to a text of the past. The Word of God, especially proclaimed in the liturgy, is meant to speak to today’s lives, illuminate choices, and shape love of God and neighbour.

Happy Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.
Today we remember Mary and Joseph bringing Jesus to the Temple, recognizing Him as the Light of the World, the light to all nations.
In that humble act, we are reminded that every life is a gift, and that true faith is lived through trust and dedication.
Wherever you are now, pause for a moment and pray with us:
“Enlighten, O God of compassion, the hearts of your children sanctified by penance, and in your kindness grant those you stir to a sense of devotion a gracious hearing when they cry out to you. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.”

Amen. Let His light guide you today and always ✨
