*"ਅੱਜ ਪੂਰਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਮਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਗ ਦਿਵਸ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।*
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ *ਪੇਰੀਆਰ" ਨੇ 80 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, *'ਇਹ ਅਸਲ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ; ਇਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ, ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ।'* ਲੱਖਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ—ਸਿੱਖ ਲੋਕਾਂ—ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਝੂਠੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
ਹੁਣ, ਭਾਜਪਾ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ 'ਆਪ' ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਹਵਾਰਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਡਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ? ਜੇਕਰ ਹਵਾਰਾ ਜੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਮੱਛਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਖਿੰਡ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ; ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਗਾਇਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ, ਮਨੂਵਾਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਸਾਡੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾਂ (MLAs) ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ (MPs) ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਦ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੁਕਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਪੀਚ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
*ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹਿ!"*
"Today, all of India is celebrating Independence Day, but we are observing this day as a day of mourning. As Periyar said 80 years ago, 'This is not true independence; it is truly a day of mourning, a day of tears.' Lakhs of people—Sikh people—sacrificed their lives because of the Congress government and the false promises given by Nehru.
Now, why do these governments, like the BJP, Congress, and AAP, fear releasing Hawara Ji? If Hawara Ji comes out of prison, all these political parties like Congress and BJP will scatter like mosquitoes; they will automatically vanish. That is why this BJP government, Manuwadi government, and Congress government are afraid to release all our political prisoners.
Therefore, our movement will take this issue to the national level. We must raise our voices and urge all MLAs and MPs to bring up these points in Parliament and the Vidhan Sabha.
With this, I conclude my speech.
