The National Youth Commission (NYC) has approved the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐬 (𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐂𝐬). The updated guidelines set a clearer and more consistent framework for how LYDCs are organized and operate across LGUs, ensuring sustained and inclusive youth participation in local governance.

With more defined roles, processes and coordination mechanisms, LYDCs are better positioned to support Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials in delivering youth programs aligned with national priorities, while also strengthening compliance and institutionalization at the local level.

✅ Successfully Conducted! 🎉

The Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation and Local Youth Development Office of the Municipality of Bingawan proudly completed its Gender Sensitivity Training for SK Chairpersons and LYDC Members last April 27, 2026 at the SB Session Hall, Bingawan, Iloilo. 💙

What a meaningful day for our youth leaders! Today, our SK Chairpersons and LYDC Members took a significant step toward becoming more gender-sensitive, fair, and inclusive in their service to the community. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to LGOO V Freda Mae Sorsano as our Resource Speaker and LGOO V Neil Paul Fara-on for helping us facilitate the activity. We also thank PD Engr. Carmelo F. Orbista, CESO V for approving this activity.

The Iloilo Provincial Government is officially opening applications for the Iskolar sang Iloilo Program (ISIP)!

ISIP is a four-to-five-year college scholarship dedicated to supporting poor but deserving students across the province in their pursuit of higher education.

Slot Availability: A total of 125 scholars will be selected (25 per district).
