As part of our commitment to uplift our community, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. UEP Zone II successfully distributed 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 to 10 selected beneficiaries, with the valuable support of our CWTS students during their immersion in the barangay.

✔️ 7 beneficiaries have already claimed their starter kits
⏳ 3 beneficiaries are yet to claim

This initiative aims to support our out-of-school youth, solo parents, and individuals in need by providing them with a sustainable source of income.

Together, we build a stronger and more self-reliant community. 💪

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙐𝙀𝙋 𝙕𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙄𝙄 successfully conducted a 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 in collaboration with 𝙈𝘿𝙍𝙍𝙈𝙊 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣, as part of the immersion program of 𝘾𝙒𝙏𝙎 students, in partnership with the barangay and with the active participation of the youth.

𝘼𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, the activity equipped participants with essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills. The training featured a 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘼𝙞𝙙 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢, an 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡, and a 𝙂𝙤 𝘽𝙖𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧—ensuring that every participant is better prepared to respond effectively during emergencies and disasters.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 highlights the importance of youth involvement in disaster risk reduction and management, empowering them to become proactive and responsible members of the community.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The Sangguniang Kabataan of UEP Zone II successfully conducted its KK Assembly anchored on the theme “Youth Innovation for Sustainable Communities,” bringing together the youth of the barangay in a day filled with meaningful discussions, skills training, and community engagement.

The activity highlighted the vital role of young people in driving innovative solutions towards a more sustainable and resilient community. Participants actively took part in sessions on disaster preparedness, first aid training, and livelihood opportunities, equipping them with practical knowledge and skills they can apply in their daily lives.

During the assembly, SK Secretary Abigail L. Noble presented the SK Accomplishments, followed by SK Treasurer Sonny C. Tan who delivered the Financial Report. Meanwhile, SK Chairperson Hon. Julienne Alistair S. Engo presented the proposed Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) for the year 2026, outlining future plans for the continued development of the youth sector.

This initiative reflects the SK’s continued commitment to empowering the youth through programs that promote leadership, inclusivity, and sustainable development.

🌊 COASTAL & MARINE CONSERVATION AWARENESS 🌱

With our barangay’s ongoing problem with waste management, especially since UEP Zone 2 is a coastal area, we conducted the “Coastal and Marine Conservation Awareness” activity to help raise awareness and educate our community on the importance of proper waste disposal, environmental responsibility, and the protection of our coastal and marine ecosystems. This initiative is also one of the main programs under our CBYDP (Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan), highlighting our commitment to youth involvement in environmental protection and community development.

As part of this activity, we collaborated with CWTS students who are currently having their immersion in Barangay UEP Zone 2. Together, we distributed informational flyers to residents to encourage better understanding and active participation in keeping our surroundings clean and preserving our natural resources.

Through this, we aim to strengthen community awareness and inspire collective action toward a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable coastal environment. 💚
