🚨 BLACK BEAR ALERT 🐻

A black bear has been spotted in the field near the curve leading toward the Claude’s area.

Please use caution if you are in the area and avoid approaching the animal.

For your safety:
• Keep children and pets close
• Do not approach or feed the bear
• Stay alert when walking or driving in the area
• Report any additional sightings to the Band Office or local authorities

Please help spread the word to community members. Stay safe everyone.

🌸 Office Closure Notice 🌸

In observance of Flower Day, Piapot First Nation offices will be closed on Monday, June 1, 2026.

A cougar has been spotted near Claude Friday’s residence.

Please use caution when outdoors and keep a close watch on children and pets. Avoid walking alone in isolated areas, especially during the evening or early morning hours.

If you see the cougar:
• Do not approach it
• Keep a safe distance
• Bring children and pets indoors immediately
• Contact local authorities or conservation officers if necessary

🧹🌎 Join us in building a cleaner, stronger North Central community!

Chief Mark Fox and Council of Piapot First Nation are leading a North Central Community Cleanup on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Volunteers will meet at 1101 Angus Street in Regina to help clean streets and alleyways and support community revitalization efforts.

This initiative reflects Piapot First Nation’s ongoing commitment to partnership, wellbeing, and investing in the future of North Central.
