Construction Notice – Watford Library

Structural improvements will begin at the Watford Library in the first week of April as part of a project led by the Township of Warwick in partnership with the County of Lambton.

Work will include foundation repairs and masonry restoration to replace deteriorating bricks and address safety concerns. Construction is expected to take approximately 4–5 weeks.

The library will remain open during regular hours. All entrances, including the accessible lift, will remain available. Minor disruptions may occur, including noise, reduced parking, and limited access to some areas

Some basement programming may be temporarily affected. Lambton Works Centre will be relocating its programs to the Township of Warwick Municipal Office until construction is complete. Lambton County Libraries will contact participants directly regarding other program changes.

The ability to book , West Room, and East Room will be temporarily unavailable from May 11–24, 2026 to allow for a data transfer as part of an upcoming booking system upgrade.
