🕊️Our PEACE Program is officially kicking off its 3rd round this September!
To make group run to its fullest potential, we are seeking some donations from the commYOUnity!

These asks will directly go towards families in the PEACE Program, as each item is used for weekly activities 🥰

Donations can be dropped off ANY TIME at 975 James Street, Woodstock ON (Domestic Abuse Services Oxford). Please let staff know these donations are for the PEACE Program 💜

☮️Donations preferred BY Monday September 21st.. however we will accept donations until October 1st!

Domestic Abuse Services Oxford (DASO) is hiring Relief Shelter Staff – Residential Program Workers to support women and children impacted by gender-based violence in our 24/7 emergency shelter.

✨ This could be a great fit if you’re looking to:
• Pick up a few extra shifts each month
• Build experience in the social services field
• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed support
• Make a difference in the lives of those impacted by gender-based violence
• Work a flexible schedule that fits around your other commitments

As a relief staff member, you provide your availability, and schedules are created based on the availability you indicate. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking for occasional shifts while being part of a compassionate and supportive team.

🚨 We Need Your Help
A recent ceiling leak caused significant damage to some of the donation items we had stored at DASO. We’re now working to replenish essential supplies for the women and children we support.

We are currently in need of:

🧻 Household Essentials
Paper towel
Toilet paper
Bath towels
Double/Queen comforters
Liquid laundry detergent

🧸 Children & School
Goodnites Pull-Ups — XS & Small

🍝 Pantry & Meals
School snacks
Cereal
Macaroni or penne noodles
Spaghetti sauce
Zoodles
Alphagetti
Chef Boyardee
Mr. Noodles

🍽️ Kitchen
Cutlery (new or gently used condition)
Corelle dishes (new or gently used condition)

Every donation, big or small, helps us rebuild our supplies and continue providing a safe, comfortable home for the women and children staying with us. 💜

🍦☀️ LET’S END SUMMER ON A SWEET NOTE! ☀️🍦

We’re planning a fun End-of-Summer Sundae Party for the women and children staying at DASO, and we’d love your help making our sundae bar extra special!

We’re looking for a few sweet treats to help us build the ultimate sundae station:

🍨 Ice cream
🍫 Syrups
🌈 Sprinkles
🍬 Candy & fun toppings

If you’d like to help us create a little summer sweetness, we’ll be collecting donations until Thursday, September 3rd.
