Woodstock, New Brunswick’s First Town, is rich with more than 150 years of history and heritage and is home to some of New Brunswick’s pioneers. Settled on the banks of the Meduxnekeag and St. John rivers at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Interstate 95, Woodstock boasts the finest 19th-century homes, churches and civic buildings.

Profile Sunday: Carleton County Historical Society

Explore two of Woodstock's historic landmarks - the Connell House and the Old Carleton County Court House.

Visitors are welcome to tour the Connell House during our regular operating hours - no booking required! (Mon-Fri 9 am- 4 pm)

Guided tours of the Old Courthouse are also available by appointment.

All tours are by donation only! Perfect for tourists, history lovers, and anyone looking to experience a piece of New Brunswick's past!
