A big thank you to a community Good Samaritan! 👏

The Town of Witless Bay would like to thank Avalon Pond Cleanups for the work being done to help care for ponds and waterways throughout our region. They have removed a significant amount of garbage and debris from the Lower Pond area. Efforts like this make a real difference. Not only does it help keep our community looking beautiful, but removing items like broken glass, bottles, cans, and other debris helps make our shared spaces safer for residents, families, children, pets, and wildlife. A big thank you to Eugene Hynes with Avalon Pond Cleanups for the work being done to help care for ponds and waterways throughout our region.

The Town would like to acknowledge the members of our Witless Bay Volunteer Fire Department who took part in the Firefit this past weekend. A lot of hard work and determination went into being able to participate in this event.
