π Happy Pride Month to our 2SLGBTQIA+ community! π³οΈβππ
We are very excited to announce a service we're offering to our 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and families, with support from π€β¨
This project will provide a range of outreach-based supports for youth who identify as neurodivergent (diagnosed or suspected autism, ADHD, etc.), 2SLGBTQIA+, and have faced barriers to accessing disability-informed, affirming services. Families will be paired with an outreach counsellor who will provide family-centred, wraparound support for the duration of the project. π
π How we can help:
π In-home or community-based support
π¬ Counselling and education for the whole family
π§ Service navigation and connection to community resources
π£ Guidance and advocacy
β
Eligibility:
π School-aged youth who self-identify as neurodivergent & 2SLGBTQIA+
π Youth or family experiencing stress or conflict related to disability and/or identity issues
π€ Not currently receiving outreach services or eligible for services through existing funding sources (e.g., Children's Disability Services, Child & Family Services, Jordan's Principle, etc.)
Please note: due to limited capacity, priority will be given to those with financial need. π«
