Join us tonight (6:30–9:00 PM) at The Forks for the People’s Climate Mandate Townhall and help shape Winnipeg’s climate future.

As Winnipeg prepares for the 2026 municipal election, we have an opportunity to identify the climate and environmental priorities that matter most to our communities from transit and active transportation to trees, housing, waste, food, climate adaptation, and more!

Hear from community leaders, share your ideas, join a discussion table, and vote on the solutions you want to see prioritized. The top ideas from the evening will help inform a public-driven climate and environment agenda that will be shared with mayoral and city council candidates ahead of the election.

Hoping everyone's safe after the overnight storm in our province! But can you imagine if we had 5, 6, ... 10x like this or even stronger EVERY season. Like many places around the world?!

There are widespread power outages across southern Manitoba tonight due to severe weather. Crews will respond when it's safe, but given the high number of outages over a wide area, customers should be prepared for an overnight outage. Safety is top priority. Report outages to us and report hazards like pole fires, downed lines and sparking lines to 911. Stay safe!
