The WRHA French Language Services’page gives the francophone population of Winnipeg a convenient option to access credible and timely information about the service’s and region’s activities in the provision of service in French, as per the WRHA French Language policies. WRHA French Language Services cannot commit to replyin
g to all comments received on this social media site. However, whenever possible, French Language Services will reply to questions within one business day and strive to take part in online conversations where relevant. The views of those who comment on this WRHA French Language Services social media site do not necessarily represent the views of the WRHA, WRHA FLS, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), WRHA Communications, and/or the Government of Manitoba. The site is regularly monitored and filtered by authorized staff (aka “moderators”), and authorized staff may participate or intervene in online conversations, as appropriate. WRHA French Language Services welcomes your comments as long as they are respectful and appropriate. Inappropriate comments will be removed and users may be restricted from this WRHA FLS social media site. Inappropriate comments include any of the following:
• abusive, obscene, indecent, inappropriate, or offensive language
• defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory or threatening remarks or unproven/unsupported accusations against individuals or organizations
• identification of publicly-elected representatives, candidates or parties, regardless of their political affiliation, whether comments are supportive or critical
• comments that invade the privacy of others or impersonate others
• content that, in the opinion of the moderator, is not related to the discussion
• content posted without the necessary rights, licenses and consents
• encouragement of conduct that may or could be a criminal offence or a civil liability
• encouragement of comments that violate any local, provincial, national, or international law (or regulation) anywhere in the world
• long-embedded URLs
• excessive links and/or code
• identical comments by the same user, also known as spam
• content that is posted for private advertising purposes
• comments contrary to the principles of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms or The Human Rights Code
• comments that reveal personal (including health) information about the poster or others
• sexual content and/or links to sexual content
• announcements from labour or political organizations
• comments in languages other than English or French
