SCO INVITES DANCERS TO JOIN OUR POW WOW ON SEPT. 30

The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is inviting pow wow dancers of all ages and categories to join us for the 6th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow on September 30, 2026—the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation—in Winnipeg, Treaty One Territory.

Your presence as a dancer brings strength, spirit, healing, and joy to this important day.

We welcome you to dance in honour of residential and day school Survivors, their families, and the children who never made it home.

The day begins with an opening ceremony at 9:30 am at the Oodena Circle in The Forks.

Following the ceremony, we plan on taking a healing walk to the Canada Life Centre.

Grand entry for the pow wow is set for 1 pm.

Everyone is welcome!

Join us, dance with us, and help lead this day of remembrance and healing.

Archery On Point is back! We're excited to be bringing this program to the Heights Outdoors and Archery Range in Winnipeg. 🎯🏹

This program is coed, and for Indigenous youth between the ages of 10-14. All archery equipment is included! $20 registration fee required. Archery On Point starts on September 17, and runs every Thursday until November 19, 2026.
