Choose between a 3km or 5km route through the West End, then stick around for the post-run celebration featuring a refreshing Barn Hammer brew waiting at the finish line. 👟🍺

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our Bike Week Winnipeg Pit Stop for a snack, to grab some free swag, or just have a quick chat. We loved seeing so many people choosing to explore and commute by bike. 🚲

Get ready folks because Bike to Work day is Tomorrow! 🎉

Here are the details:
⏰ When: Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, 6:30am - 9am.
🌳 Where: You can find our pit stop at Cumberland Ave and Carlton St. by Central Park.
🪎 What: We'll be passing out goodies like keychains, snacks, and samples from our matcha bar.

The first week of June is already gone! Here's your events schedule for the upcoming week.

Kavod Thrift Store is hosting a giveaway for their upcoming fill-a-bag sale Sunday June 14. Thats $40 for anything you can fit in a store provided bag, with an additional $10 off for loyalty program members (giveaway closes June 11). 🛍️

The Spence Neighbourhood Association Incentives Program is running until June 12. Applicants can receive grants up to $5000 for organizations, agencies, and community groups to deliver projects that make the Spence Neighbourhood an incredible community. Applications can be found on their website under resources. 🍄

Flow Watercolour Workshop is on June 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Hosted by Moonflower Cafe in 618 ARTlington, the class is beginner friendly with all materials provided. 🎨

Free Football Camps in partnership with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and DMCI for grade 6 and 7 athletes. Hosted at DMCI June 8 and 18, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Plus in-person registration for the West End Wolves team at Valour Community Centre, 1315 Strathcona St. on June 15 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 🏈

Happy Sunday West Enders. Let's get ready for some exciting events coming up this week!

- Drag Story time at The University of Winnipeg Library, June 2nd, 10:00 a.m. in Bernice's Reading Room (4CM46). Register to attend and find more Pride activities with the link in 's bio. 🌈
- $10 Pride Night of Dance at Drop In Dance Winnipeg. On June 4, starting at 6:15 pm join Sontje Skabo in a night of movement. All proceeds raised go to the Rainbow Resource Centre. 🏳️‍🌈
- Ellice Street Festival with the West End Cultural Centre + Neighbourhood Yard Sales on surrounding streets. June 5 and 6 enjoy live music, 25 cent hot dogs, a bouncy castle, games, markets and more. Multiple yard sales will be happening June 6 in the surrounding streets of the festival, so come ready to explore. 🎤
- Valour Community Centre Spring Carnival at 1315 Strathcona Street. June 6 from noon to 4:00 pm. Enjoy bouncy castles, face painting, games, food, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, and a petting zoo. 🐇
