Variety’s Bike Camp runs for 2 weeks at East End Arena in Transcona.
June 29-July 3 & July 6-10.

This camp supports children with disabilities to learn to ride a 2-wheel bike independently.

Volunteers are needed to walk/jog alongside riders during their session.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's life this summer.

Looking back on an unforgettable evening at Variety’s Illumination Ball ✨

Together, we raised more than $1.2 million in support of children with disabilities and their families across Manitoba.

We were proud to honour Gregg & Lana Maidment with Variety’s 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing their extraordinary commitment to our community. Gregg also brought incredible energy to our Live Auction and Fund a Need, helping raise critical funds that support Variety programs, therapies, adaptive equipment, and recreational opportunities for children who need them most.

Throughout the evening, guests heard inspiring stories from Variety families, including Lily and Finneaus, while Carlos received a brand-new adaptive bike that will keep him cruising all summer long. Variety kid Aurora also welcomed guests into the ballroom through our spectacular illuminated tunnel.
