Making plan for summer? Love outdoor and ready for an adventure?

Voices is offering Mac Trek this summer through Momenta!

This FREE 2 days canoe program is for youth in or from care ages 12-17.

Date & time: August 18 & August 19 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Location: La Barriere Park (4403 Waverley St., La Salle, MB)

Transportation: Participants must have their own transportation to and from camp each day. (If transportation is a barrier, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!)

Meals: Lunch and snacks are included for each day of the program.

We have exciting news!

VOICES will be moving from its current location at 61 Juno Street to its new host location, The Link: Youth and Family Supports, at 175 Mayfair Avenue in mid-March 2026.

This move is a positive change for VOICES, with an expanded space for youth programming. Most importantly, there will be no disruption of services to any of VOICES’ current programs, and no change to the staff team.

Hey Voices fam! It is the season for Earl Cook Classic and we want to see you there!

The Earl Cook Classic is an annual hockey match between Youth in/ from care (Age 12-30) and Adult Supports, to honor the life of our brother from care, Earl Cook, who bravely fought cancer. And continue his spirit of perseverance that we never surrender to hard times, as he always says, "Tough times don't last, tough people do."

Date: Saturday. March 14th, 2026
Location: Seven Oaks Arena (745 Kingsbury Avenue)
Time: 1030 am -1230 pm
Game: 1030-1130 ; Snacks and refreshment 1130-1230

We need players for both sides! Players of all skill levels are welcome!

Not a hockey player? You can be the 7th players of your team by supporting them in the cheering section!

Thank you to everyone who was able to come out and spend the afternoon with us on Christmas day!
Big thanks to the volunteers who helped with everything including: gathering gifts, baking cookies, setting up and cleaning up the party. Not every hero wears a cape!!!
This Christmas party would not be as successful as it is without our generous donors and partners. It takes a village to make this happen!!! We thank you MR MIKES for hosting a , Premier Truck Group - Winnipeg , Nejmark Architect and United Way Winnipeg for making our children and youth's Christmas wishes came true, and all our donors' generous support for children and young people in care.
Thank you to our hosts, the Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suit who treated us like gold for years and again this Christmas! Karen and Bryan and the team are the sweetest and most supportive folks.
Our biggest thank you is reserved for our brothers and sisters in care who truly make this day special by spending time, being open, making friends and positive connections. Thank you for choosing us to be your family by choice.
