Today was a huge win for our senior and disabled community! With this beautiful new partnership with our friends at Regent Park Pharmacy @701 Regent Ave W we are going to be able to supply a much needed adult undergarments, bathrobes, sweaters along with a few extra goodies for our developing youth in our community.

Many don’t know that we NOT only a food bank but we a community services resource Center that helps New Commers to Canada, ex inmates to providing them a stepping stone while they reintegrate into society, we also help Youths finding jobs and much more.

It is much a full heart we want to thank Numie and her team for trusting us to direct their donations back to a much needing community!

Any winter clothing and or hygiene items will be diverted here to help with this terrible terrible incident that happened this week.

ONE TIME HAMPERS AVAILABLE (up to 7)

As the holidays approach we want to be able to help as much and as many as we can. For tomorrow November 23rd from 9:15am-10:00am only we will be opening our door to provide up to 7 hampers. The first 7 Person will be served.

Requirements:
1. You must live in our catchment, please bring an ID to verify address
2. Preference will be given to Seniors, persons with Disability (please bring able-body person for assistance) and or parents with children (must be on health card).
3. Must not be currently registered or receiving assistance with GIVE Community Outreach and affiliates.
4. Upon arrival Name, Address and phone number will be taken.

So very happy to work with Sherry and Ola from Main Street Project on this cold Sunday evening. Main street project does amazing work within our inner city community, this evening we partnered with them to give our fresh delicious clementines we received last night.

We often find ourselves working TOGETHER not in competition with other nonprofit organizations to be able to reach further our vulnerable citizens. It truly such an awesome feeling to know that we can depend on each other for help.

Our “VIP” visitors are the best. It brings so much joy to see little ones “shopping” 😊.

Coming to Canada can not only be exciting but also culture shock is a very real thing, getting to know Canadian products can be intimidating. Sometimes families need a little extra time to be able to ask questions and learn how to make use of what is available to them.

Here at GIVE Community Outreach we tailor each visit to the need, we strive to remove the stigma of going to a food bank by allowing you to feel safe and at home!
