Todd McDougall has lived in PTSD Ward 2 for 21 years and has family history in the area dating back to the early 1960's.
He is a father and worked 13 years in childcare in the area. During this time, he worked alongside a local church, community club and the Pembina Trails School Division.
His time working with teachers, principals and other faculty members has given him a lot of insight into the challenges facing our educational system and his time working with parents has shown him the importance of community involvement and transparency.
Seeing families struggle to pay for childcare over the years, Todd knows how important it is for families to know that their money is being spent in their best interest.
Todd believes the best way to do this is to ensure all meetings are open to the public and promoted publicly as such and to focus primarily on the basics of public education.
A strong advocate for community pride and events, Todd would like to see your voice be heard more when it comes to your community and your children’s education.
