The Future Is Yours Employment Skills Training Program is returning!

Youth ages 15 to 24 can build employment skills through training, workshops, volunteering and cultural experiences. Participants will also receive First Aid/CPR, NCI, Manitoba Safe Food Handlers and safeTALK training.

All interested youth must attend the open orientation:

📣 Free EIA Support at Ka Ni Kanichihk!

Starting TODAY, we're hosting a bi-weekly Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) table at 455 McDermot Avenue, 2-4pm. An EIA worker will be on-site so community members can stop by, ask questions, and learn about the EIA supports available to them.

The new school year is almost upon us! For youth, especially in these complicated times, it can be hard dealing with the anxiety of new situations, and to build social skills without accidentally sticking your foot into your mouth-- feels nearly impossible. The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba is running a free 6-week gaming program for youth aged 12-16 to help build confidence and resilience, starting the 14th of September.
