NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the following days:
SEPTEMBER 16, 17, 18, 21, and 22, 2026,

between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the following location, 185 Main Street, Winkler, Manitoba, I will receive nominations for the offices of Mayor and Councillors of the aforesaid Local Authority.

The nomination deadline is September 22, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Nominations cannot be accepted after this day.

Construction is anticipated to begin the week of September 14th along Cargill Road between PTH 32 (1st Street) and the Superstore parking lot access. It is expected to last for two weeks. Cargill Road will be restricted to westbound traffic only in the closure area during this time. Appropriate construction signage will be provided to direct traffic around the work area. Please exercise caution when driving through and around this area.

Helpful tips for giving and getting items:

✅Place items that are in reusable condition at the curb.
✅Be sure to clearly label items as "FREE".
✅Store away any items you don't want to give away.
✅Do not take items if they are not labeled "FREE".
✅Please clean up any leftover items by dusk Saturday evening.
✅Take a picture of your items and post them on the Curbside Giveaway Weekend event page on Facebook for the community to find.
✅Share your offerings and great finds using .
✅Check items for Bed Bugs before putting them in your vehicle or bringing them home.
✅Be respectful on other people's property.
✅Be safe and obey all traffic laws.
✅Watch out for children.
