Exciting news announced today regarding the plans to repurpose the historic Windsor Arena (The Barn) to help our community through a new Transitional Housing plan named The Village at the Barn!

Thank you to the Mayor Drew Dilkens, City of Windsor - Municipal Government, Windsor Police Service and all other Community Partners coming together to work on this for our community so we can provide dignity and hope to so many more vulnerable, unhoused neighbours 🙌

Join our friends from On A Mission For The Mission for their weekly Bike Nights TOMORROW and every Wednesday at Chuck's Roadhouse (13039 Tecumseh Rd E) between 5 pm and 8 pm. Stop by some great food and even better time spent with an amazing group of individuals who are doing SO much for our Community throughout the year!!!

Thank YOU for helping provide meals to those who are hungry in our community🙏

A huge thank you to Charitable Gaming Windsor and Breakaway Gaming Centre for your incredible support of the Mission's Food Bank and Meal Service through our Kitchen/Dining Hall!

Because of you, the Downtown Mission's dedicated and caring Staff and Volunteers are able to provide food for approximately 80 individuals or 40 families daily, for those who live close by and just need a little extra help each month to make sure they have nutritious meals for themselves and their families. As well, Staff and Volunteers are able to prepare and serve over 400 meals daily to those experiencing homelessness and staying in our shelter or coming for a community meal at lunch where they can get some support and help from our Mission Staff as well as Community Partners onsite.

Your generosity and kindness truly makes a difference at the Mission for hundreds of individuals we serve daily from our community and we’re so thankful to have partners like you supporting and making the work we do possible 🙏
