This notification serves to inform you that the Willowbunch Fire Department's responsibilities extend beyond fire response. We also provide rescue services. Notably, 70% of our members are trained medical first responders. Additionally, we are equipped to handle auto extrications and low-angle rescues, particularly in emergency situations within our coulees. Furthermore, we also conduct search and rescue operations. It's essential to recognize that our responses encompass a wide range of emergencies beyond fires, even when smoke is not visible and you come across fire trucks with lights and sirens on, not all emergencies are fires!

This vehicle will be utilized for fire and rescue purposes, reflecting Cameron and Kathy’s appreciation for the tireless efforts of Willow Bunch's first responders in assisting with medical calls over the years. Throughout the years, the collaboration between Willow Bunch first responders and Hutch Ambulance has fostered a strong bond, with the two entities having responded to hundreds of calls and developed a familial relationship. The Willow Bunch Fire Department sincerely thanks Cameron and Kathy and Hutch Ambulance for their donation and assures them that the unit will be dedicated to serving the community.
