Today, we proudly recognize and celebrate our incredible Personal Support Workers at J.W. MacIntosh Community Support Services for PSW Day. 💙

Our PSWs make a meaningful difference every day through their compassion, dedication, and commitment to supporting individuals in our community. Whether providing care through our Assisted Living Services, Personal Support Program, Supportive Housing, or Respite Care programs in both the community and apartment settings, their work helps people maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Thank you to all of our PSWs for the care, comfort, and support you provide to clients and families each and every day. Your kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed , we appreciate all that you do!

Today, on International Nurses Day, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible nurses at J.W. MacIntosh Community Support Services.

We are deeply grateful for the important role our nurses play in helping our programs thrive, including Assisted Living in Morrisburg/Iroquois, Winchester/Chesterville, and Kemptville, our Supportive Housing Program, Respite in the Community, Personal Support Services (PSS), and the Respite Care Apartment at The Villa.

These programs are stronger because of your knowledge, leadership, and heart. You help create safe, supportive, and compassionate environments where people can continue to live with dignity, independence, and connection.

Okay… we have a confession 😅

Things have been so busy here at the Macintosh that we completely missed posting about a VERY important birthday yesterday and honestly, that should be considered a crime.

Yesterday was Brooke’s birthday!!! 🎉🎂

Brooke, our amazing PSW, is basically a real-life superhero (just without the cape… She brings kindness, laughter, patience, and a whole lot of heart into everything she does, and our residents absolutely adore her , for good reason.

She’s the kind of person who makes every shift brighter, every day easier, and every room a little happier just by walking into it.

So now we need your help to make up for our mistake ...drop some birthday love for Brooke in the comments and help us celebrate her the way she deserves! 💖🎈
